The Founder Roundup

The next phase of Startup Founder Daily

Startup Founder Daily Beehiiv

We're Back – And All In

Hello and welcome back to the Founder Roundup Newsletter! We took a brief break from featuring founders while I (Luke) moved halfway across the country and got married.

Now, we're back and ready to go all in helping founders succeed.

Last week, we featured two new founders. Read more about these rockstars below! The schedule from here on out, barring unforeseen circumstances, will be three Featured Founders per week shared on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you know of a founder who would be a good fit, please encourage them to apply.

Now we're locked in and ready to scale Startup Founder Daily into the ultimate support system for startups. We envision a day where being featured is a game-changer for startups: new clients, access to capital, and well-deserved recognition.

We won't stop with featuring founders (for free!), we are working every day behind the scenes to build out this platform: referrals to investors, resources, education, and more.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being members of this community.

We're Live

Introducing the Backseat Startup Podcast, where we give unsolicited advice to strangers on the internet.

We will bring on founders, investors, and advisors to answer founders' questions shared online– all unplanned and unscripted.

Episode one featured Landon Campbell, GM for Chicago of Drive Capital and the host of the "In Their 20s" podcast. We had a great time breaking down a founder's concerns that they had screwed up irreparably.

Fahd Alhattab, Founder of Unicorn Labs

Meet the Founder developing the next generation of unicorn leaders. Fahd’s path to leadership began with philanthropy. Early in his career, he raised $1m+ for local charities, founded a camp for underprivileged children, and was awarded Canada’s Top 20 Under 20 for his dedication to his community.

Later in his career, while serving as President of Carleton University Students’ Association, Fahd launched a student entrepreneurship center that has founded over 50 student startups and helped them raise more than $300K in seed capital.

From over 13 years of experience building successful teams, he knows what separates high-performing leaders from their competitors. He refers to these founders as Unicorn Leaders.

Fahd decided to launch Unicorn Labs to bring leadership development into the startup space. He has now delivered speeches and keynotes to over 50,000 people across North America.

Jacquelyn Grace, Founder of Healing Heroes

Jacquelyn Grace, Founder of Healing Heroes

Meet the Founder building a Veteran lifestyle consulting firm. Jacquelyn grew up surrounded by fearless military personnel, with many friends and family members serving across all branches of the military. Being around that culture taught her a lot about unity, family, and bravery.

It also showed her the effects of war on the mind, as well as alienation of a divided society that is isolating to Veterans. That’s why Jacquelyn created Healing Heroes, a Veteran lifestyle consulting firm

Healing Heroes steps in to support Veterans with services such as housekeeping, organization, grocery shopping and much more. The goal of Healing Heroes is to outsource and connect with Veterans nationwide for this opportunity. Their vision focuses on providing wellness and community support to these individuals.
