The Founder Roundup Ep. 18
Stop waiting for the stars to align
Are you waiting on the stars to align? How often have you put something off because you were waiting for the perfect timing? How often did you look back and realize that was just an excuse?
If you're looking for the perfect time to start building, to raise capital, to take the plunge, it's never going to come. Conditions will never be perfect. It's about starting and making the conditions as ideal as you can.
Welcome back to the Founder Roundup! We only featured one (great) founder last week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Read more about him below. We're back in full swing this week.
A big welcome to our new subscribers. If you haven't introduced yourself yet, respond to this email. I'd love to get to know you.

Weekly Wisdom
Your highs will be high and lows will be low. It's important to always be positive and reward yourself and your team for any size of a "win." Now, we can never expect everything but it's important to remember that things always change and rarely go exactly as planned, so be prepared for anything and focus on the highest probabilities. If you do that, and continue to learn and grow, you'll be successful.

Backseat Startup
In episode 10 of the Backseat Startup Podcast, we had Austin Kreinz, Founder of Atomix, on the show. Atomix is a transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage startup operating at the intersection of ecommerce and tech.
A Reddit user asked how to find success with pilot programs. Austin provided some great thoughts and guidance to anyone navigating that dilemma.

Founder Roundup
Austin Kreinz, Founder of Atomix
Every ecommerce business is different. Why are we treating their logistics the same? Austin Kreinz and his team have created a platform for high growth ecommerce brands to flourish.
With experience at a bootstrapped ecommerce company, Austin learned the foundational principles on how to scale a successful brand. It was during this time that he realized ecommerce was the future of retail.
Through watching his dad grow a logistics company, and his entrepreneurial experiences with his brother, Austin built himself a strong foundation to start his own business in the logistics space.
Previously, ecommerce brands had the decision between shipping orders themselves or utilizing a 3PL/warehouse/fulfillment center. In Austin’s eyes, the process and software systems to find and work with a consistently reliable and scalable partner were broken.
Austin built a team with the shared belief that the combination of user-friendly technology and high-quality, personalized services would be game-changing for the the industry.
Instead of operating massive traditional fulfillment centers, which are usually organized around servicing thousands of brands, they structured their model with individual micro-warehouses tailored to each brands’ preferences.
Atomix is looking for customers who want their logistics to function as a growth partner.
