Cultural immersion, smart athletic apparel, and insurance for digital nomads

Hey Founders and Friends,
I spend a lot of time thinking about Blue Origin’s motto:
Gradatim Ferociter
Latin for “step-by-step, ferociously.”
For such a short phrase, it captures startup life perfectly.
The day-to-day at a startup is mundane. It is showing up every day and making small, incremental progress.
The most successful founders are those that are able to attack these seemingly insignificant steps with ferocity.

One of the best ways to raise capital is by getting high quality warm intros. BUT, as most of us know, getting those are notably challenging. The industry is insular and 99% of founders are on the outside looking in. This leaves the only option left for most founders, which is cold outreach. But how many cold emails are founders supposed to send before they get a high quality meeting out of it? How much time is wasted sending cold outreach with no return? Enough is enough. Introducing Seedscout.
Seedscout is a cold outreach alternative that relies 100% on an autonomous double opt in intro system. Log in, pick a plan, and request intros to investors at ease. On Seedscout, know what investors are active, what ones have recently engaged, and send intro requests to ideal investors with a click of a button. Once connected, carry on the conversation over email and feel free to take it "off platform.”
Seedscout isn't meant to replace your cold outreach, but be a layer on top of it. If you want to scale your startup network in a timely fashion, check it out below and use startupstage50 to take 50% off any plan for one month.

Seven tips for founders:
1. Get traction before raising if possible.
2. Build a solid distribution network (alliances, representatives, channel partners, etc)
3. Hire slowly to make sure they are the right person for the right seat, then release quickly if you discover they are not the right person for that role or culture.
4. Write investor updates monthly, consider Paperstreet.
5. Go deep with your investor representatives to learn from them.
6. Don't be fast to give equity to advisors and early employees until proven.
7. Take care of your mental wellbeing; get outside, exercise, get therapy, guard your sleep and intake.

Startup law on a startup budget. There's a big gap in the market between the cost of legal services and startup's budgets. It is imperative that startups build upon a strong legal foundation. However, most startups can't afford the $600+ hourly rate that most major law firms charge. That's where Cuvée Counsel comes in.
