Django Degree of Focus on Words

Calling all personal development junkies: Founder Django Degree is building the app of your dreams.

Focus on Words is a platform that connects personal development readers to the content that they love. All in one central location.

With note taking tools and daily motivational quotes, users can build community around their favorite personal development pieces of content.

It's time for a platform that focuses on curating a space where authors can connect with those that love their books. Focus on Words aims to be that platform.

The app will be launching next month, with a host of new features: Track the books you've read, connect with others who love the book, and keep your notes in one central location

“It’s not like other social platforms, but more of a mind map that can span to not only yourself but to people you know or who are reading the same books.”

Dominikos Pritis of MyRoomie

As housing costs increase, 26% of young adults currently share housing. MyRoomie makes it safe and easy to find your next roommate.

Founder, Dominikos Pritis, realized a pain point in the Greek housing market: Rent prices were sky high, but the options for those looking for roommates were oddly and poorly designed.

Dominikos set about creating a platform that allows users to find a reputable and trustworthy roommate. This reduces the cost of living and promotes sustainability.

Each potential roommate goes through background and compatibility checks to ensure safety. On the other side of the marketplace, real estate agents can add their properties to the platform.

MyRoomie utilizes machine learning to gather data on what types of people connect as roommates and what listings they go for.

The platform has already enabled 75 accommodations, and is growing at a rate of 80% month over month.

Their impressive stats aren't the only sign of traction that MyRoomie has earned lately: They recently received a €50k investment from the Dragons on Dragons' Den Greece.

Amidst a war, economic crisis, and rent prices that shut many off from affordable housing, MyRoomie aims to soften the blow by allowing users to find a reputable and trustworthy roommate.

MyRoomie, is at the forefront of the shared economy movement and is helping people take control of their finances by providing them with an affordable housing solution.
